Episencial Review and Giveaway

I am so excited to share with you some amazing products that I have just discovered!!!  Both of my children have very sensitive skin.  I can't use scented soaps, perfumes, or bubble baths with either of them.  We have to stick with Dove soap and unscented lotions to help avoid red, itchy skin and rashes.

When I was contacted by Episencial to review their products, I was very hesitant.  I didn't want to use anything on my kids that would irritate or cause skin problems.  Well, I'm happy to say that Episencial delivered on every claim and is one company that I can safely use with Mallory and Jack.  The most wonderful part of this discovery is that Episencial products can be found at TARGET!!!  I don't have to special order them.  They are available on the shelves of my local Target store.  How wonderful is that?!?!?  Want to know if your local target carries Episencial products?  Click HERE!

I was given the opportunity to review 4 different Episencial products: Protective Face Balm, Sweet Dreams Bubble Bath, Better Body Butter, and Playful Foaming Wash.

Springtime = Softball Season!

Daddy's softball season has officially started, but the games have been LATE and after Jack's bedtime, so we haven't been able to make very many of them.  Tonight was an early game, so we all got to go!!

Jack was determined to bring his pail and shovel in the car with him.  When we pulled into our parking spot, I looked into the rearview mirror and this is what I saw!

HA!!!!  LOL!!!  He loves putting things on his head!!  It totally cracks me up!!!

Although this is SPRING softball, you'd never know it from the looks of tonight!!!

It was FREEZING out there!!!  Uncle Josh plays, too, so here is cousin Macy, Mallory, and Jack.

Macy was entertained by Mallory most of the evening and giggled all over herself when Mallory played with her.  It was so cute!!!!  Mallory LOVES having a little girl to play with and can't wait until Macy is bigger!!

Here's Daddy in the "on deck circle" and Mallory cheering him on.  It was a good game.  We won big-time!  But, I have to admit when the sun went down and it got even colder... Jack and I watched the end of the game from the warmth of our car!  :-)

Don't Miss This Blessing!

On Easter Sunday, my church was blessed to hear this from our pastor.  He showed us how Jesus is in every book of the Bible!  It's amazing!  I plan to write these in my Bible at the beginning of each book.  Please don't miss this blessing!

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving thanks.

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

2 Worship the LORD with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his;

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;

his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Jack's 1st Icee, Fabulous Flea Market Find & Pink Paisley Winners!

Today was warm, the kids had been good while my mom and I did some errands and went to some flea markets, so I decided to treat them to an Icee while we drove.  This was Jack's 1st Icee and I should have known not to let him have it all to himself while I was driving.  (I took these pictures with my arms above my head and the camera resting on the top of my headrest while sitting at a red light!)

Did you know that stuff stains?  I had forgotten that!

He really did drink a lot of it.  But Mallory was a little distracting and he kept watching her.

The result wasn't a good one!  I definitely learned my lesson.  By the time I was able to pull over and get out of the car, he was completely covered in red, sticky, Icee.  I didn't take a picture... I was too busy cleaning up the carseat and Jack before it stained him any more than it already had.

Note to self... no more Icee's in the car!!!  :-)

My mom and I hit some flea markets this week and here is my fabulous find!!!! I couldn't wait to show you!!! Isn't it just the cutest thing?!?!

This little chair is SO unique and I just love the leopard print on it!!  I brought it home, dusted it off, and began rearranging what seemed like my entire house by the time I was finished.  One thing led to another thing, which led to another thing, and so on.  So this little chair in this little place, led to that table being moved, which led to...

...this being redecorated.  Which led to...

...this being redecorated.  Which led to...

...this being redecorated.  (I especially love this end result!)  Which led to...

...this being changed up some.  Which ultimately led to...

this new area in my master bedroom!

I just love moving things around... it just makes it all feel brand new!!  :-)  So, what do you think of my new leopard chair?!?!

STRESSED spelled backwards...

... is DESSERTS!  Did ya'll know that?  Well, one thing I do when I get stressed is CRAVE chocolate!  Well, I crave it all the time, but I especially crave it when I'm stressed.  Let me just say that I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's been eating their kids Easter candy, right?!?!?  I know ya'll do it, too!  Well, tonight Jack's hollow, milk chocolate, Peter Rabbit bunny took on a new form.  He's not recognizable as a bunny now.  Not even close!  Good thing is that there's a little of him left for Jack.  But not much.  Unfortunatey for Jack it was the only chocolate in the house, so Mommy devoured the majority of it.  And, mmmmmm it was good!  :-)

My stress isn't gone.  I still have a deadline to meet asap.  But my chocolate fix is taken care of!  For now.  :-)
