Wonderful Weekend!!!

This past weekend Brad went deer hunting and the kids and I went to Dallas with  my parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, neices, and nephew.  We stayed at the unbelievable Gaylord Texan Hotel and shopped until we dropped.  It was an incredibly fun time!!!

Friday we shopped, along with the rest of Dallas, at the Grapevine Mills Mall.  Believe it or not, we only shopped in 1 store - for over 3 hours!!!  Yes, The Children's Place was having an amazing sale.  The entire store was 50% off and we had a coupon for an additional 20% off!  My sweet daddy stood in line for us for an hour and a half!  Seriously!  We handed him a few things to hold in line while we continued to shop, shop, shop!  :-)  Afterwards, we ate hamburgers at Fuddruckers - always SO good!!!  Then, we headed to the hotel to oooh and aahhhh over all the beautiful lights and decorations.

On Saturday morning we had breakfast at the hotel.  The kids all wore their pajamas that Nana had given them and sat at a "kid table" all together!  :-)  Afterwards, we walked around the hotel and took pictures of the kids in their pj's.

Saturday, after shopping a little more at Grapevine Mills Mall, we headed to the Frisco area to shop some more.  When we returned to the hotel, we saw Jack Frost!

Sunday morning we had breakfast at the hotel and then went to the ICE show!  This year's theme was Charlie Brown!!!  LOVED IT!!!!  It is unbelieveable to see such detailed work and realize it's all ice!

My favorite ICE sculptures are always at the end.  They always include the nativity and have the Christmas story being told as you exit.  It's INCREDIBLE!!!

Merry Christmas from Mallory

To finish off our Sunday afternoon, we went to the Bass Pro Shop.  Every year they give free pictures with Santa and have activities for the kids.  It's really a neat thing!!

Mallory gave Santa a picture she had drawn for him.
