Canton Fun!!!

Today my mom, sister, sister-in-law, my 2 kids, and my sister's little one headed to Canton Trade Days!!!  Oh, what fun we had!!!!!  We shopped until we dropped and couldn't have had a better day.  It was extremely crowded, but the weather was gorgeous and the kids were perfect.  We found a few fun finds and got a bunch of ideas!!!  I plan to head to Hobby Lobby tomorrow and see if I can duplicate some of the things I saw.  Unfortunately, I was too busy shopping to take any pictures while we were there, but I did take a snapshot of the things that came home with me.

My first find was this hand painted, miniature screen.  I had never seen one like this.  I'm not sure where it's going yet, but I can see it with a small greenery arrangement and candle in front of it.  We'll see.

Next I came across 10 of these little pedestal glasses.  I have wanted some like them for sometime, but haven't been able to find them at a good price.  While I was eyeing them, the man offered them all to me for $15.  That was by far the best price I had ever seen, so I jumped on them pretty fast.  :-)

I found these shoes and GRABBED them up!!!  They were the only pair like them left and they were size 5 1/2!!!!!  Who would have guessed MY SIZE would have been the size of the very last pair?!?!?!  SQUEAL!!!  :-)  Have you ever seen anything like them?!?!?  I love how unique they are.

Finally, I found this wrought iron paper towel holder.  I had looked and looked for one just like it, but kept finding ones that were too expensive or the wrong color.  This one was JUST RIGHT!!!

So that's what I did today.  I can't wait until next month when we can go again!!!
