Last night I let the kids dye easter eggs for the very first time! Even little Jack got to participate! :-)
Mallory helped me prepare the dyes.
Jack coloring his 1st egg
Mallory coloring her 1st egg
Jack really got into it and colored several. He colored his highchair tray in between eggs!
Mallory really enjoyed dying the eggs. She is always sweet and thoughtful, but last night I was really impressed when she wrote Jack's name on her 1st egg. She has such a generous, giving heart!
Our 1st easter egg dying experience was really great. Jack thought he'd try pounding one into his highchair tray, but amazingly it was the only one that got cracked! :-)
Here's our finished Easter eggs! (notice the green cracked one - that's one of Jack's!) And on the yellow one, Mallory drew her and Jack.
Hey, did you notice the top of the egg carton? There's a scripture to the left of the nutrition facts! I got these eggs at Walgreens and they're made by Dutch Farms. Finding that scripture in the eggs was really neat! It says "This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
That's pretty cool!

Such fun! We are going to do it for the first time with our daughter. I found a little spinner that colors eggs so it's a bit easier for her. Can't wait!
Have a happy Easter! Blessings!
