Crazy Quilt Cross Creation

I told you in an earlier post that I was working on a project, but hadn't quite finished it yet.  Well, I finished it and I can't wait for you to see it!!  My mom and I made these crazy quilt crosses this weekend.  What do you think?

Here's an up-close view of the center cross.

My living room has a vaulted ceiling, so my mom and I decided it would look perfect above the mirror behind my couch.  Now when you walk into the room, this is what you see:
Doesn't it draw your eye up?!

Several years ago, I covered my lampshades in three different coordinating fabrics.  Some of the cross fabrics are the same as the fabrics on the lamps, so they really compliment each other.

As I've mentioned in other posts, I love for my home to reflect God's love.  This is just one more reminder of the sacrifice He made for me and how blessed I really am.

It's beautiful and does seem like it was meant to be in that space above the mirror !

Great thinking how you used the materials from the lamp shades to make the cross, really gives the whole thing a custom, one of a kind look. Thanks for sharing!
