Family Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday night, my mom and dad had all of us over for charcoaled hamburgers with all the fixins.... oh my!! SOOOO GOOOOD!!! And when I say all of us, I mean, me and Brad, Mallory and Jack, my brother Chad, his wife Tennille, and their kids, Grant and Scarlett, and my brother Josh, his wife Amy, and their little baby girl Macy, and my sister Kristin, her husband Jamy, and their little boy Micah. So, 10 adults, one 5-year-old, one 2-year old, two 20-month old boys, and 2 baby girls under 9-months old.

And, my mom did it up right! We ate outside on her beautiful patio. And, she served tons of food! Burgers, fixins, dips, chips, and PRECIOUS, homemade strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing and topped with jelly beans! So cute and so good!!!

Before we devoured the food, they had prepared an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. I've never seen so many eggs!!! And, my parents had intentionally labelled some of the eggs with the kid's names and put special prizes inside. And do you know what??? There was a special egg for each adult, too!!! The adult eggs were filled with Russell Stover Strawberry Cream eggs!!! {Mama, (I know you're reading!) thank you SO much for going to all the extra effort to make the time at your house so much fun! Everything was fabulous and I really appreciated it!!!}

By the way, Mallory is wearing a dress my mother made for ME when I was little!!  It was Mallory's Easter dress this year and I couldn't be more excited about her wearing it.

Each of the kids found a golf ball in one of their eggs and for a very good reason... my parents set up a putting green on the driveway for the kids to play with. What a fun idea!!! So, we changed the kids into their play clothes and let them play on the driveway. Daddy even got out the wheelbarrow and gave rides! It was so much fun!

If that wasn't enough, when it started getting dark, Mama invited us all inside and gave the kids their Easter gifts - pajamas!!!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy these family pictures from our fun day!
