When we received the costume in the mail, Mallory couldn't wait to put it on!! I was amazed at the quality of this costume and the attention to detail! The gorgeous pink gown includes a headband and wings at no extra cost. The dress has a soft velvet torso and a sheer pink skirt that is lined with pink satin and flows elegantly to the floor. It has beautiful marabou and tinsel trim that borders the hemline and neckline, plus it's trimmed the enitre way around the wings. The sheer pink sleeves also have marabou-trimmed cuffs that match the rest of the dress. The headband has a halo made from the same material.
It took us a little time to figure out how to put on the wings. I was having Mallory put them on upside down, so they looked more like butterfly wings. I couldn't figure out why they weren't staying in place like they should. When I finally looked at the picture that came with the costume, I realized my mistake and helped Mallory put them on right-side-up! Other than that, there was no assembly required and getting in and out of the dress was simple.
