Our Fun Day

Today was a beautiful day!!!  We had our traditional Saturday lunch at Whataburger with my parents.  While waiting on our food, Jack squeezed one of the ketchup packets and sent ketchup flying all over him and me!  It was wild!  After our lunch, we went to run some errands.  I looked back at Jack at one point and this is what I saw...
Hat on crooked, paci in mouth, golf club in hand, and SOUND asleep!!  His golf club has been his FAVORITE toy lately.  He takes it everywhere!!!

We went to the mall for a little while, too.  I think everyone decided to get out today - the mall was packed!!!  Mallory pretended to ride on the toys.  Fortunately she's pretty content to play on them this way without having to spend 75 cents for each ride!

Jack was happy and content to just watch her play!

We went to Jalepeno Tree for dinner and I have to tell you a funny thing that happened while we were there.  The waitress arrived at our table to take our drink orders very quickly after we were seated.  At this point, we weren't sure if we were going to get Mallory a kid's meal or have her share something with us.  So, we ordered her and Jack a water.  While we waited for the waitress to return with the water, we determined Mallory would order off the kid's menu and would be entitled to a coke, milk, or some drink other than water.  So, when the waitress returned, we placed our food order and ordered Mallory a coke with her kid's meal.  The waitress acted like we were from another planet!  She said, "I already brought her a water."  We agreed, but mentioned again that kid's meal prices included a drink.  The waitress agreed with us, but said, "I can only enter 1 drink per kid's meal and I've already entered water into the computer."  I was about to bust out laughing, but totally controlled myself as Brad continued the debate with her.  He said, "Isn't water free?"  She said, "Yes, but I will have to pour it out and then bring her a coke.  Then, I'll have to change it from water to coke in the computer.  Is that what you want me to do?"  Brad said, "Yes, change it!"  Finally, Mallory got her coke AND got to keep her water, too!!!  Is that not hilarious!?!?!  This girl was OUT THERE!!!  Poor thing.  After she left and I could finally let the explosion of laughter out, I kind of felt sorry for her!  Man!  I had never in my life experienced anything like that!!  So, if you go to our Jalepeno Tree - you have been warned about 1 particular waitress!  :-)  HA!!

What planet was that waitress from? Since when did you have to 'ring' up water on a tab?? LOL.

Seems like Spring is in the air! I hope the good weather sticks around!
